18th Swiss Open 2001
On this years Swiss Open 150 men and 40 ladies played
for the title in saalbau Rhypark, situated near the Rhine river.
Although the weather this year doesn’t invite to swimming in the Rhine (see some pictures from last year), it is perfect
to concentrate on the game!
Although the number of players is not very high, the field was very strong.
Britain, Holland and Belgium came here with all their strong players, including world top
players like Raymond van Barneveld, Mervin King, Bob Taylor, Andy Jenkins,
Martin Adams and many more, who are fighting for the World Darts Federation (WDF)
ranking points.
